Laura Agosta is a Program Officer at IREX working with the Beyond Access initiative in Latin America. She has an MPA from Columbia University and experience in project design and evaluation, with a focus on social change and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Laura also works on IREX’s Novateca program in Moldova.

Rachel Crocker

Rachel is a Program Coordinator at IREX working primarily with Beyond Access teams in Asia. Previously, she worked at Kansas State University Libraries — teaching information literacy and working on community outreach and engagement. She’s currently completing an MA in International Human Rights with the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver

Nolen Deibert is a Program Associate at IREX working mainly with the Beyond Access initiative in Africa. Before joining IREX, Nolen worked in education in China and South Korea. He is currently completing a MA in International Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.

Amber is a Program Coordinator at IREX working on Beyond Access communications and supporting the project in Myanmar. Amber has a background in multimedia journalism and Francophone Africa. She’s currently writing her masters thesis on Congolese literature.

Kyle is an intern at IREX working on Beyond Access internet publications. Prior to joining IREX, he worked in education in Romania. He currently attends the Elliot School of International Affairs at the George Washington University, where he is earning his MA in international development.

Ari Katz

Ari heads IREX’s team that manages programs integrating technology into development strategies. These include Beyond Access, Global Connections & Exchange, and Global Libraries programs in Romania, Moldova, and Ukraine. Much of Ari's work has focused on Central Asia. He designed the Tech Age Girls program in Uzbekistan, now replicated in eight countries.

As a Program Officer at IREX, Ashley coordinates Beyond Access events and provides support to community and project development. Ashley has a background in the Middle East and an interest in the diversity of collaborative community spaces around the world. Ashley is a M.A. candidate in Arab Studies at Georgetown University and enjoys working on her doodling skills.

Myles works on information and media programs at IREX, including developing new partnerships for Beyond Access. He spent six years working as a program manger, consultant, and journalist in Central Asia and the surrounding region, including running ICT4D projects in 12 countries.

Joel Turner

Joel is a Program Manager at IREX and is based in Namibia. Joel oversees training and capacity building efforts for the Namibian library sector, facilitating partnerships between government, NGOs, and libraries. With a deep interest in libraries and experience researching the use and impact of technology in developing communities, Joel provides strategic guidance and is a regular contributor to the Beyond Access blog.
